We’ve got a big high school - a big walk around the school - and a big fight to beat MS (Multiple Sclerosis). On May 3 a big crowd came to Saratoga High School to walk against MS.
Mostly in this year’s orange T-shirt - some dedicated groups walking in support of an individual had different colors - but all were walking around the perimeter of our high school.
There were a lot of young people walking - MS strikes younger people - and many were walking for peers and friends.
In multiple sclerosis, damage to the myelin in the central nervous system — and to the nerve fibers themselves — interferes with the transmission of nerve signals between the brain and spinal cord and other parts of the body.
